Some think a little pricey, but very very nice quality. I really like mine. http://shop.thefinergrain.com/I like the traditional grip better than the bobtail, just personal preference. Nice pistola.

He started out doing them for fun and was posting them on m1911.org. I can't remember the whole story, i think he's a furniture maker or something. I have the ambroyna burl, on the same pistol he has in the picture on the website.
